Blender for Illustration by Sam Carr

/

Release date:2022

Author: Sam Carr

Skill level:Beginner

Language:English

Exercise files:Yes

This tutorial is aimed at illustrators who are curious about Blender and want to skip all the unnecessary bits and start making cool stuff. This is much more beginner friendly than my last tutorial, but also uses an improved workflow.

This tutorial includes 2.5 hours of narrated video lessons where I go over the basics and how we can use them to create a simple scene. It also includes a fantasy ruin kitbash set and a very cute little adventurer character model that you can use in your own illustrations. I also include all my blender and photoshop files and a bunch of other resources so that you can see how everything is done. There are no secrets here.

The lessons cover:

  • First-time Blender Set Up
  • Navigation and Objects
  • Edit Mode
  • Modelling
  • Materials
  • Lighting and Rendering
  • Painting over in Photoshop
  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • Google+
  • Linkedin
  • Pinterest
