In my first class on Class 101, I introduced the basics of pixel art and taught you how to draw a simple character, turn a photo into pixel art, and create merchandise. Based on the feedback from students who found certain parts of the class challenging, I have improved and expanded upon those topics in subsequent classes.

Whether you’re a beginner or an intermediate student, you’ll be able to benefit from my lessons on comparison of small and large canvases. I’ll be sharing tips and tricks on how to draw objects, bring character to life, master lighting and color techniques, understand the environment and perspective, and utilize AA techniques. All with the goal of making your pixel art journey easier and more enjoyable!

In this class, I focus on using a mouse instead of a separate tablet for drawing. The mouse allows for more accurate and detailed drawings, making it easier to create the desired shape. You will learn how to effectively use lighting to create pictures with different moods and emotions.
