You start with the brief. What did the client actually ask for? What mood, what characters, what background? You learn to lock that down before you waste time rendering.

Then you get into the people part. Two-character covers live or die on relationship — distance, eye direction, chest and thigh angles, hand placement. Delta breaks down character composition, anatomy, and costume fitting so your guys look handsome without looking stiff, and your girls look delicate without looking flat. Faces get special treatment: eye-nose-mouth balance for both genders, plus hair flow that supports the design instead of hiding it.
