ob Title: Fashion Designer Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Fashion Designer Assistant to provide support to our fashion design team. You will assist our fashion designer in all aspects of the design process, from research and concept development to pattern-making and production.

Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with the fashion designer and provide input on the development of new designs and collections
– Assist in the creation of sketches, and tech packs

– Assist in the preparation of fabric and trim sourcing, and be able to source alternative materials if necessary
– Attend fittings and contribute to the development of patterns as well as assist in the creation of technical drawings
– Assist in the production process, coordinate with the production team, and review samples to ensure quality control
– Assist in coordinating and executing photoshoots or fashion shows

Skills and Qualifications:
– 2+ years of experience in the fashion industry
– Bachelor’s degree or vocational degree in fashion design or a related field
– Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, CAD software, and MS Office
– Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail
– Strong knowledge of fabrics, textiles, and garment construction
– Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
– Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once
– Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
