This class is designed for individuals who have a passion for drawing and a desire to create magical and fairytale-like digital images. Whether you are a beginner or already have experience in drawing, this class is inclusive to all skill levels. The art of illustration is ultimately about expressing oneself and unleashing creativity, qualities that can be found at any stage of an artist’s journey. Together, we will embark on a learning adventure where we will explore and develop our skills.
What will the students achieve?
Throughout the course, we will place a strong emphasis on two important aspects: line art and color palettes. By mastering line art techniques, we will learn how to create intricate and expressive outlines that bring our illustrations to life. Additionally, we will dive into the world of color palettes, discovering how different color combinations can evoke specific moods and atmospheres in our artwork.
As we progress, we will shift our focus to drawing inanimate objects, learning how to shape and render them convincingly within our illustrations. Flowers will receive special attention, as they play a significant role in creating the desired feel and ambiance in our drawings.
Drawing inspiration from beloved fairytales, we will incorporate elements from these enchanting stories into our artwork. By the end of the course, working together, we will have completed a full fairytale illustration based on our favorite story. This final project will be a culmination of our newfound skills and techniques, capturing the magical essence of the fairytales that inspire us.
By the end of this class, students will have gained proficiency in line art, color palettes, and drawing inanimate objects. They will have developed the ability to create captivating and fairytale-like digital images, effectively expressing their imagination and bringing their artistic visions to life.
