📝 Description
This isn’t a standalone tutorial, it’s a working assignment. You get a concept – often the stylized cart by You Jeong Cho – and you build it start to finish in ZBrush. That means making real decisions on shapes, sizes, and what details actually matter in game.
You’ll start rough. Big forms first, then break it down into planks, wheels, handles, and metal bands. Vijay keeps the focus on readable shapes and clean digital sculpting, not just adding noise. You’ll learn where to push damage and wear, and where to hold back so the prop still reads well from a distance.
The second half is where it gets practical for jobs. You’ll deal with topology, keep an eye on polygon/tris budget, and bake your texturing maps so the sculpt is actually usable in a game engine. By the end you don’t just have a cool render, you understand how a prop moves through a real production pipeline.
