📝 Description
This one is all about non-verbal communication. No lip-sync to hide behind. If the pose is weak or the weight is off, everyone sees it. That is exactly why pantomime is such a good workout.
Jorge starts with the feet. Sounds boring, but it is not. Where you put the feet decides where the hips go, and that decides if your character feels heavy, tired, nervous, or confident. You will work on weight shift, foot placement, and how to keep balance believable without making it stiff.
Then comes the acting part. Instead of scrubbing through reference clips for an hour, you get up and do it yourself. Film it, feel it, find the key pose. You will practice physical acting to get poses with real intent, and learn how to set up an emotional pre-read so the audience knows what the character feels before he even moves.
The other big idea here is the 2D mindset. Plan on paper or in thumbnails first. Nail the storytelling poses and the timing beats, then go into 3D and execute. It saves a ton of spline-polish pain later. Perfect if your shots look floaty or your gestures feel vague.
