📝 Description
This is not a follow-along button-press tutorial. It is live, interactive training built around how production character artists actually think. You start rough, you fix a lot, and you learn why a cheek looks flat or an eye feels dead.
First part is all structure. You look at the skull and real facial muscles, then you decide what to keep and what to drop for style. That is what keeps your work from looking melted or random.
Then you block. One sphere, turned into a PolyMesh3D, and you push big volumes first — jaw mass, cranium, brow, nose wedge. No details early. If the silhouette reads from far away, you are good to move on.
The stylized part comes from planes. You will use Trim Dynamic to cut flat, graphic shapes into the cheeks and jaw, and Pinch to tighten transitions. That back-and-forth between soft and hard is what gives the face that crisp, hand-crafted feel you see in games and animation.
Last, you push appeal. Bigger eyes? Wider cheek? Slimmer chin? You learn to shift fat pads and proportions on purpose, not by accident, and keep the whole face balanced.
