In this course, the illustrator and animator Joseba Elorza (MiraRuido) will teach you how to create the trailer of an imaginary film with the video collage technique, showing you the methodology and tricks necessary to take your cuts to a new dimension, that of time. You will learn more about the anachronistic and surrealist style that Joseba uses in his work and will practice from the first row the entire creative process of animation, from the compilation of the material to the publication of the final video. Without having to have previous knowledge of After Effects, you will be amazed with the fantastic result that you will achieve giving life to vintage photos and videos. What will you learn in this online course?
Get ready to learn step by step how to make a brief animated teaser for a movie. To begin, you will know some references and influences of the genre and you will learn where to look for the audiovisual and photographic material that will make up your animation. Once the documentation is compiled, you will create your own storyboard and begin to cut out the photos and videos with rotoscoping.

When you have all the material ready, you will go on to mount the animation in After Effects. Quiet, there will be a review of the bases of the program for first-timers. With After Effects you will learn how to perform layered animation. Finally, you will finish your collage video by applying the texture, some final touches and rendering. And you will almost be there, you just need to see how to upload the video and show off your animation on the internet!
