There are several alternatives for revealing photographs digitally but, without a doubt, none like Capture One, the most powerful software in the world of professional photography. In this 5-course Domestika Basics, you will learn from the photographer and retoucher Edu Gómez, to make RAW revealed in high quality, squeezing the software to the maximum and starting from scratch.

You will start the course knowing the basics of Capture One, taking a walk through the interface, reviewing the functionalities and customizing your workspace. You will see the difference between catalogs and sessions, discover the library and start managing the images.

In the second course you will explore the basic tools of color and exposure to process your photographs. You will learn to configure the base features and values of your camera. You will learn to unify the color of your images and see what the variants are.

In the third course you will discover how to use masks and other tools such as focus, noise reduction or grain, among others. You will learn all about lens corrections, and review all the basic functionalities.

You will see the difference between styles and adjustments in the fourth course, seeing those that are by default and learning to create new ones. You will be introduced to the processing formulas, you will begin to reveal your images, you will learn to make contact sheets, and you will create an ICC profile.

In the last course, you will learn step by step how to make your session directly connected to Capture One, a technique known as tethering . You will see what Live View is, then what the overlays are and, finally, you will discover the work of the digital assistant in a shooting .
