Learn how to use one of the leading UX design and digital prototyping platforms from the ground up
Generating creative solutions to engage the attention of users is what great designers do. However, a UX designer goes a step further in that direction: it’s how the user interacts with the creative solution that is most important. UX designers solve a problem for the user, while also aligning with a brand’s business goals. It is a complex role and one that is becoming increasingly important within design teams today.

Ethan Parry has become a thought leader in UX design, partaking in the Interaction Design Association’s Interaction Awards committee, as well as teaching in Barcelona’s most reputed design universities. Once you complete this course, you will be equipped with all the necessary knowledge to take on a personal or professional UX design project with confidence and skill.

In the first course, you will start by installing Adobe XD on your phone as well as your computer, go through the layout of the software’s interface, and learn how to organize your workspace. Finish this course by trying out the design functions with Ethan.

Next, focus on designing an interface, learning the ins and outs of responsive design concepts to create the main screens of your application. Learn how to create components, create basic interactive prototypes, and finally how to use Adobe XD to showcase your designs.

Go a step further into prototyping with the third course, by creating dynamic effects and learning how to add carousels and voice to your prototype, along with micro-interactions with the use of component states. You’ll end this course by adding what you’ve learned to the designs you created in the previous course.

Discover how to share and collaborate on a UX project in the fourth course, seeing how to export artboards and elements by inviting someone to co-edit your design with you. See how to get feedback on your project so far, with the user testing mode.

In the final course, Ethan shares his tips and tricks to improve your design workflow using plugins, extensions, and UI kits. See where Ethan finds his plugins and apply various to your own app, to give a more dynamic design system to your final project.
