In this course, the photographer Rico Torres, will explain step by step how to recreate the visual style of Sin City in your photographs. You will learn lighting techniques, how to make a photo session with a model and professional post-production tricks.

Rico Torres is considered one of the 10 Best Still Pictures in Hollywood and is the author of most of the posters of Robert Rodríguez’s films such as Desperado, Spy Kids, Planet Terror, Predators or Machete Kills.

However, there is a before and after in his career after Sin City . A visual challenge in which he not only had to recreate the iconic B-movie black aesthetic that Rodríguez printed on the film, but also to be faithful to the high-contrast black and white images and sprinkled with colorful details of Frank’s comics Miller, feat that could be repeated in the second installment, Sin City 2: A Fatal Lady , released in 2014.
