The goal of this class is to shake up the way we choose colors for our artwork. Yas shares a unique method for creating interesting color palettes from unexpected places. This untapped vein of inspiration will provide endless opportunities to create unpredictable and eclectic color palettes.

In addition to color palette creation, Yas also takes the student through her method of coloring sketches and final art as well as jumping into some traditional media demonstrations.

In this class you will learn:

• How to use a photo of an object or place as a reference for creating a color palette
• How to use a dropper tool and brush to create a hierarchical digital color palette
• How to create a rough sketch using the color palette you have created
• How to use your rough sketch and color palette to do a final coloring of a drawing
• How to use traditional media to create work inspired by your new color palette
