Do you want to create your own video game but have no skills? Do you have ideas for characters and gameplay but don’t know where to start. This course is for anyone who wants to start making video games but has no prior knowledge of Game engines or 3D modeling and animation. In this course, you’re going to learn how to use Blender to create a character, and then you’ll learn how to use Unreal Engine to give that character life in a video game. You’ll learn how to use Mixamo.com to give your character great polished 3d animations for free. Both Blender and Unreal Engine can be intimidating but recent changes to both have made them more accessible than ever.
You’ll cover everything from Blender basics to Unreal engine’s visual scripting language. Don’t worry about getting overwhelmed either, we’re going to cover just enough so you can understand the process without getting steamrolled by it. When you do run into any challenges I’ll be there every step of the way. You can drop a question in the discussion and I’ll get right back to you. I also do personalized videos if I can’t answer easily in the discussion, and I even do live question and answer sessions if I can’t help with a video.
