Would you like to learn to draw caricatures of your friends and family? Utilizing the basic skills taught in this course, you could learn to sketch someone in six minutes or less!

Students in this self-paced course will learn the basic shapes that make up the human face and how to exaggerate them to achieve humorous results. A basic understand of drawing tools and techniques is suggested, but even with minimal experience drawing you could learn to achieve an interesting likeness and be able to generate results to entertain or enhance your business projects.

The class with start with the basics of caricature. By using a model of comparison of the standard human skull and searching for the distinct qualities of the person you are drawing, these concepts will be simple to learn. Digital tools and techniques will be taught as well, so that students can render a face using the most modern software and tools available today. The course will culminate in a project deliverable of rendering a finalized caricature illustration of a famous personality. Students will be able to turn these newly acquired skills to an entrepenurial opportunity or utilize them in their current illustration work.
