Create your own Chillhop Animation

Hi There, I’m Ben, an animation director and production artist.

Together we’re going to design and make a looping animation suitable for a chillhop video. This is a simple project that will take you through from sketch to final scene in the same process used by professional animators for television and games.

You’ll learn how to:
design and make characters
design and paint a background
animate the characters in after effects
composite the scene
render it out to a youtube friendly format

By the end you will have a fully rendered scene with characters, environment and effects. This will help you learn and experience the basics of how to construct an animated scene with characters, background and effects.
This is for intermediate learners who have some knowledge of photoshop and after effects.
