Model, texture, light and animate a complete modern villa in Blender โ€” no prior experience needed.

Want client-ready archviz without paying for expensive software? In this course you build a full modern villa with pool in Blender โ€” from reference images and blockout walls to materials, lights, and a fly-through animation you can actually show someone.

๐ŸŽฏ What you’ll learn

  • Efficient 3D modelling for architectural projects
  • Creating procedural textures from scratch
  • UV mapping for clean, distortion-free materials
  • Applying HDRI lighting to your scene
  • Building texture node maps for glass, wood, concrete and water
  • Populating scenes by importing assets
  • Rendering stills and animating a final fly-through
  • Editing your animation in Blender’s Video Editor

โœ… Requirements

  • Skills: No prior Blender experience required, basic computer skills are enough
  • Hardware: Computer capable of running Blender and rendering 3D scenes

๐Ÿ“ Description

This is a project-based course. You don’t just click through tools โ€” you model a real house. We start with reference images and block out ground floor walls, doors, pool, paving, stairs, roof and interiors. By the end you know how a full archviz build actually fits together.

The workflow stays simple on purpose. Short, clear steps for 3D modeling, modifiers, and clean topology. Youโ€™ll build tricky stuff like bi-folding doors, handrails, skirting boards, headboards, TV wall and a full sofa piece by piece. No jumps. If you can follow along, you can finish it.

Then we make it look good. Youโ€™ll set up HDRI lighting, build glass, wood, concrete, cladding and pool water with procedural textures and node maps, and do proper UV mapping so nothing stretches. Interior lights, kitchen, vegetation, bedroom and bathroom props โ€” thatโ€™s what sells the render.

Last part is output. Still renders with correct camera and render settings, then a smooth camera fly-through. Youโ€™ll also cut it together in Blenderโ€™s Video Editor, so you leave with images + animation ready to send to a client or drop in a portfolio.

๐Ÿง‘โ€๐ŸŽ“ Who this course is for

  • Beginners who have never opened Blender before
  • Students who want to use free and open-source software professionally
  • Beginners who want to create clean architectural designs and interiors
  • Architects or designers who want to make professional animations

๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿซ About the Author

Edward Harding teaches practical Blender workflows focused on architectural visualization. His approach is straight to the point: model it, texture it, light it, render it. Students follow a full villa project from empty file to animated presentation, picking up real production habits along the way.

๐Ÿ Final Result

  • A complete modern villa project in Blender with furnished interiors, pool, lighting and materials, plus photoreal still renders and a camera fly-through animation edited in Blender
