In this course on designing a film-quality fish bust with ZBrush and KeyShot, we will begin with a basic mesh and transform it into a unique, high-quality model using ZBrush. Starting with a 2D sketch painted in Photoshop, we’ll use it as a reference to shape the main forms of our 3D sculpt. Through a series of speed sculpting techniques, we’ll refine the surface detail without overwhelming the model. Moving on to texturing, we’ll combine real photos with hand painting to create a highly detailed texture map.

Inside ZBrush, we’ll explore using Spotlight for texturing and delve into hand-painting techniques. Transitioning to KeyShot, we’ll import our sculpt and set up materials and shading for our object. Finally, we’ll enhance our scene with cinematic lighting to achieve a film-quality result.

This course covers sculpting, texturing, detailing, lighting, and rendering, suitable for advanced students. By the end, students will have the skills to develop a film-quality sculpt of an oceanic monster.
