This workshop will go over Andy Cung’s Umbrella Method for storyboarding which covers camera, character, story, and shot progression through a more analytical point-of-view. There will be a 10-minute break in the middle of the workshop with a 30-minute Q&A at the end. Workshop will be purely lectured based only and hosted on Crowdcast. The streaming platform has a chat box with Q&A submission box for attendee interaction.

While all skill levels and experience are welcomed to attend, please note that this workshop WILL NOT BE an introduction to storyboarding. While we do discuss some of the basics and technical aspects, we will not go in-depth. The workshop focuses on the application of storyboarding. At the end of this workshop you will have a better understanding of how camera, character, and story all come together for storyboarding with The Umbrella Method.
