๐ Description
This isn’t theory-only branding. Roseshaker runs you through the exact pipeline her studio uses: start with research and words, end with stuff you can hold. You’ll work on three fake-but-realistic clients, so you learn how to switch styles without losing consistency.
First up is Cafe Sig, a postmodern cafe. You’ll lock in adjectives like Y2K, minimal, and postmodern, then turn them into logo design, packaging, menu boards, and a five-poster series. It’s great practice for keeping one idea tight across a dozen touchpoints.
Next is Pink Mad, a kitsch retro wine bar. This one is all about personality. You’ll write the story, nail the naming, then push it into labels, boxes, cups, and goodie bags. You learn how packaging design and small graphic jokes can make a brand memorable on social.
Last is The Butter Room, a vintage fairytale bakery. Here you get into texture, light and shadow, and decorative objects. You’ll do symbol logos, modified type logos, leaflets, and even a simple web design without code. Plus posters that tie the whole fairytale mood together.
And because real work isn’t just making pretty files, she also covers the unsexy stuff: how to prep for print, what to check on press, how to build a site fast, and how to talk to clients so revisions don’t eat you alive. All examples are from actual studio practice, not textbook mockups.
