BRIEFLY ABOUT THE COURSE:
The teacher is Kirill Zolovkin, the creator of Gripper (83% positive reviews on Steam, 12 industry awards) and many other projects. He was the lead game designer at OctoBox Interactive, where he worked with Wargaming.
We will analyze in detail all the stages of creating a game – from pre-production to release and post-release support – from the point of view of management.
- We will conduct a competitive analysis and create a prototype in GameMaker.
- We will improve the prototype to a public demo, we will conduct playtests.
- Consider the principles of team management, build work pipelines.
- We will work with monetization schemes and analytics systems.
- Prepare the game for presentation to investors and publishers.
- We will show you how to upload the game to popular stores, how to sell and promote it before and after the release.
We will explore each narrow topic together with the appropriate specialist: art director, technical director, analyst, and so on. Together we will walk through the entire structure of a modern gaming company.
PURPOSE OF THE COURSE
Learn how to properly build a development pipeline and consider the game as a business product.
We will not abandon the process of your learning on a prototype, but will step by step bring the product to release and tell you how to support it – whether it is a game for PC, consoles or mobile platforms.
We will go through all the steps step by step – from the initial idea to launch, including publishing in the store. Kirill himself went through all these stages more than once – and now he will share his experience with you.
