In this final phase of inking, Jeff will guide you through various master studies and photo reference interpretations in ink. Using brush and quill, he’ll primarily focus on heads and figures. Midway through this phase, he’ll tackle an ink piece inspired by Solomon J. Solomon’s *Samson*, based on the biblical story of Samson and Delilah. This isn’t just a straightforward master study; it requires significant interpretation to translate Solomon’s richly rendered painting into ink, unpacking multiple layers of learning to understand the technical decisions involved. – A Female Portrait from Photo Reference
– Various Features from the Vanderpoel Book
– 2 Male Figures and 1 Female Figure from *Samson*
– An Alphonse Mucha Female Figure
– An Edwin Austin Abbey Male Figure

### Materials Needed:
**Paper:**
– Strathmore Smooth Bristol (100 lb.) – for Quill + Brush
– Hammermill Color Copy Paper – for Quill + Brush
(Feel free to experiment with other papers, but be cautious with lighter weights, as the ink may bleed through.)

**Quill Pens:**
