This course is designed to develop core foundations in drawing, starting with line and moving into shapes, perspective, shading, and design principles. The lessons are structured to build upon each other, creating a comprehensive and practical approach. Drawing inspiration from martial arts training, we will focus on building confidence and technique through a series of warmups and exercises that are both easy and enjoyable.

Our approach is streamlined, with an emphasis on maximizing your time and avoiding unnecessary tangents. The course will be packed with exercises to help develop your drawing motor skills, as well as knowledge to increase your awareness and become better at drawing. We will start with the pen tool, but also cover pencils, markers, ink brushes, charcoal, and other materials. All foundational skills, such as still lifes, urban sketching, architectural drawing, and basic human figure drawing, will be explored.

After the basic exercises, we will have assignments and projects to reinforce and build upon what we have learned. Level 1 of the course will teach us everything we need to know about drawing, providing a strong foundation to express ourselves better through our art.

This course is suitable for all skill levels and age groups. We will be constantly adding content to improve the overall experience. Level 2 will be geared towards more advanced users, building upon the skills and concepts learned in Level 1.
