How much is your time worth? £30 per hour? How long would it take you to learn all of the information in this course? If it would take 2-4 hours, then this course isn’t for you.

In all seriousness, what you are learning here is years of study, practice and results for the cost of about two hours of your time. You could potentially earn that back with one video clip sale or a job booked using the techniques and advice within.

I have been flying drones since 2014 and professionally since 2015. I still love being out in the world flying, capturing video and taking stills from the air wherever I go.

However, after a year or so of doing aerial video commercially for the likes of Channel 4’s Iron Man, The Sailing World Cup, Pinewood Studios and multiple corporate jobs, I started exploring new skills, techniques and ways of getting noticed with my work. Over and above my competitors.

Great looking hyperlapses were top of that list!

The more creative you become, the more attention you get from prospective clients and the more trust you instill making you a viable provider of professional services.

All that aside, learning new skills that you can show off online is also beneficial in confidence building, kudos and exposure : )

You never know where sharing your creative clips might lead.

Early in my aerial video business, I realised that there was a lot more you could do with a drone other than the usual slow fly-by standard video shot. I started to incorporate more creative aspects to my work and my clients loved it.

I will recommend however, to keep these clips to a minimum when producing client work. Too much will dilute the perceived and actual effort, time and skill that you put into this work. Less is more.

In this course, you will learn a few technical skills on how you can dramatically improve your hyperlapses both in the air and on the ground.

You will also learn to experiment with new, creative ideas and sell your video clips both online and off.

By the end of the course, you should be:
More confident in your flying skills and abilities
Proficient at creating wonderful, professional hyperlapses and dolly zooms
Knowledgeable in the business of selling your hard work online and off

I have included an introduction to selling stock video to this course as it ties in nicely with what you are doing in the skies. If you are travelling to beautiful locations to shoot aerial video, why not do the same on the ground and shoot stock video there too? You will be increasing your chances of making money through selling those clips.

In that section, I teach you what to shoot, how to produce it and where to sell it.

Spoiler: A short home-made video made me £500 with the Weather Channel in the USA and a 2 minute, easy to make compilation video made me £650. Learn more about this and you will want to take your camera and drone everywhere. Guaranteed!

Aerial video excites me. Creative aerial video excites me more. Selling my work makes it all worth while!
