We ended that one talking about common mistakes I see too regularly in story portfolios. We dipped our toes in the topic and now we will do a deep dive.

This workshop will be more demo based rather than lecture based. I’ll be taking questions from the class as we go – questions pertaining to the topic of the moment, to address and find solutions to common mistakes.

After the demo, I’ll go over any other specific questions you may have – you can get as specific as you want!

Some Dos and Don’ts topics covered:

Acting & Reacting
Staging & Perspective
Continuity
PITCHING! – this is so important and we will talk a lot about pitching! I’ll go over why it’s important, especially for feature animation.
And finally…

How to present your work! How to put together a portfolio for story and organize your work for recruiters.
1.5h demo followed by 1h Q&A

** This workshop will not address drawing or storyboarding fundamentals. good knowledge of both is highly recommended to get the most out of this workshop

** Workshop will be recorded. If you are not able to make the live time, it will still be available to view.
