**PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE PURCHASING**

This is a very basic series. I can’t stress that enough. The focus of these videos is my approach to doing studies for color, value, and drawing accuracy ONLY. I will cover how I approach doing a color study WITHOUT using the color picker.
Topics I cover in these 3 demos:

  • Looking for landmarks in the reference to get more accurate proportions and a better drawing to start with.
  • The importance of setting goals when doing studies.
  • Seeing and drawing “shapes” not “things”.
  • An easy and structured way to figure out color/value landmarks that makes choosing colors more of an analytical process, less than a guessing game.

These studies are done with very simple brushes (included) and the focus is on accurate color, value, and drawing, NOT brushwork or stylization. Included are

  • Three 1+ hour videos, done in realtime, with commentary.
  • 3 PSDs of the paintings with reference
  • 3 JPEGs of the final images
  • 1 ABR photoshop brush set of brushes used during the demo.
