To begin, you will meet Emilio Chulià, he’ll tell you how he started in photography and how it changed his life. He will also share with you his greatest influences and sources of inspiration, which include architecture, music, film, and photography.

Discover the minimalist movement in photography, from its origins and main references. Then, learn the basic concepts of composition such as scale, light, color, numbers and rhythm, in a comparative exercise between already edited photographs and those of the original shot.

Emilio will teach you all his tricks to achieve the perfect composition for your minimalist photograph, by learning to find new angles when taking a photo, the best frame to fit your shot, and why you should go against the established rules, among other tips.

Discover the difference between a good and an exceptional image and what defines it, by understanding two factors: time and luck.

At the end of this course, you will have learned to create ideal minimalist photographs for Instagram, applying all your newfound knowledge to create a photographic series for your final project.
