This course guides you step-by-step through the entire process of creating a stylized 3D character animation. Strap in and follow along as we design a unique character, explore lighting and texturing, and finally rig and animate it in Cinema 4D.

Design and Modeling:

We begin by gathering references and sketching the character design from scratch. From there, we’ll model the character in Cinema 4D, using techniques that can be applied across various workflows.

Lighting and Texturing:

Using the built-in Redshift render engine, we’ll light and render the character. You’ll learn how to add realistic lighting to the scene, along with tactile and stylized textures that bring the character to life.

Rigging and Animation:

In the final stage, we’ll bring the character to life through animation. While character animation may seem intimidating, we’ll walk through a tried-and-true workflow that can be applied to any character animation project.
