/

Release date:2019, November

Author:Romain Jouandeau

Skill level:Beginner

Language:English

Exercise files:Yes

This tutorial shows my typical process from begining to end. The bulk of the work is done in Photoshop, with a lot of photobashing, but I will start from doodling to building a 3D scene in Blender, all the way to a polished, finished piece.

The photo pack that I used is provided with that tutorial.

This is not a beginner level tutorial, however, you don’t need to be an expert either. Just being already familiar with Blender and Photoshop, will allow you to make your way through, and hopefully come out with an awesome piece!

What you get:
– The medieval photopack that I shot and used for that tutorial – 395 4K photos from 4 different locations in the South West of France
– Over 3h30 of narrated videos
– Around 3 hours of Blender + Photoshop Timelapses videos
– 2 PSD and JPG files

Topics covered:
-The use of references
– Sketching
Composition
– Building a 3D scene
– Modeling and texturing simple 3D assets
– Photobashing
Lighting
– Story Telling

Softwares used:
– Blender
Adobe Photoshop
