Drawings that capture everyday moments! Why don’t you learn how to sketch in a short time in the city or at a cafe?
In this class, I will address common challenges that many artists face, such as how to give expression to lines and tips for effectively coloring to enhance the impact of your artwork. You will learn valuable techniques and perspectives for drawing people.
We will start with simple subjects that surround us, gradually progressing to more complex topics. By the end of the class, you will be able to create a cityscape painting.
Drawing with lines is one of the most enjoyable aspects of art, and we will focus on refining your line expression through practice. I encourage you to draw directly with a pen, even if it requires some courage initially. By closely observing your subjects and developing judgment, you will gradually become more comfortable drawing without preliminary sketches.
For beginners, we have provided paper with auxiliary lines printed on it to assist you in practicing and gradually getting accustomed to drawing without drafts.
Through these techniques and practices, you will be able to create vivid and dynamic artwork that captures the essence of the moment.
I look forward to guiding you through this artistic journey and helping you unlock your potential in expressing yourself through your drawings.
I can draw effortlessly! Convenient portable drawing kit
I also go out to cafes and outside and paint freely. This time, I’m using a kit of tools that are easy to carry around.
The kit includes a water-resistant pen for drawing lines and clear watercolor paint to complement the lines drawn with the pen. As for the transparent watercolors, I added a set of 12 colors made by W&N, and a single transparent watercolor in a color that I often use.
