In this 5-week course, instructor Ryan Benjamin will provide an informative guide on drawing comics. To begin, you will learn the drawing and inking materials needed for the course. Ryan will teach you the basics of cross-hatching. Then, you will explore the importance of primitives in constructing complex shapes. Ryan will show you how to apply the fundamental lighting principles to render comic characters. You will watch him set up a comic scene from a script.
