Spray painting, whether on the street or in a studio, brings versatility and speed to any project, as it quickly covers large surfaces and dries instantly.

Belin has spent years dedicated to the world of urban art and working on this technique; While it has even shaped his own style -in which mixture hiperrealismo, cubism, expressive use of color and strength of the line of graffiti – and has been named by the experts as post neocubism.

In this course you will learn with him to paint realistic portraits with spray, from the initial sketch to the final touches.

What will you learn in this online course?
You will start discovering what materials are essential to paint your work with spray and you will make a sketch that will help you visualize the final idea.

Belin will teach you the basic techniques to learn how to paint with spray and will show you the color palette he usually uses to help you choose yours.

Then, you will capture your work in the final support and begin to apply the color. You will start with the skin and pay attention to the eyes and their expression, an element to which Belin gives special importance.

After drawing and coloring the nose, mouth, hair and background, you will also add depth and detail that will give your work a realistic look.

Finally, you will work on the outline of the whole figure, an element that Belin uses to emphasize the cubist aspect of his projects.

Requirements and materials
It is not essential to have previously painted with spray, since Belin will explain how to work with them. However, basic drawing knowledge is necessary.

With respect to the materials, you will need transparent carpenter’s glue, water, brush, a mask, spray cans, different ‘ caps ‘ and a surface on which to paint your work.
