π Description
Visual merchandising sits right between art direction and interior design. You play with color, materials, perspective, and depth to pull people in. This course breaks that down into practical moves you can reuse for any brand or shop window.
Carla and Laura walk you through their real process. You start with the brief and budget, then collect references in mood boards, sketch the idea by hand or in SketchUp, and lock materials and lighting. No guesswork β just a clear order: concept, design, presentation, specs.
You will also get into the details that make displays work on the street. How to set a focal point, keep composition balanced, use height and depth, and pick materials that match both idea and money. Plus how light changes mood, and how to write files suppliers can actually build from.
The final project is hands-on: you design a full window for a brand and build a small mock-up to test it. Good practice for freelancers, shop owners, or anyone who wants retail work in their portfolio.
π§βπ Who this course is for
