Hello and welcome to my new course, how to paint gold and silver in Procreate.

Whatever you decide to paint, now and then you’ll have a need to paint metals. Whether it’s jewellery, containers, utensils, even a metallic car. Knowing how to paint metal is a handy skill.

Gold and copper have warm tones and use different techniques to silver for example.

Silver and polished chrome and even some coloured polished metals are all about reflections as in a mirror.

I’ll show you how to look at polished metals to get an authentic look to your illustration.

I’m including in the class resources a base painted item for colour picking and the finished item to show the screens that give the metal feel.
