This is the actual sketch that I created on location at O’Leary’s for the Skillshare class. As you can see in the lesson, it’s an ink line and tone drawing done with a fine line pen and a fude nib fountain pen, both with waterproof ink. The watercolor wash is applied to focus attention at the tiki hut, umbrellas and patrons between the foreground tree and the building.
