Workshop Description
In this 3 hour workshop Andy Cung will go over the fundamentals of musical storyboarding for animation.

- How to use the Umbrella Method for musicals
- Lyric Breakdown
- Shot design
- Telling a story through musicals
- Choreography
- Gesture Drawing
- Behind-the-scenes process
- Research and inspiration
Examples from ARLO: THE ALLIGATOR BOY and I <3 ARLO will be used to demonstrate the different topics in the workshop.
Lecture will be recorded for you if you’re unable to make the live session. You will be able to download the lecture assets which include the slides, clips, and files shown in the workshop.
Workshop Details

Lecture will be 2.5 hours with a 10 minute break in the middle and 30 minute Q&A at the end
Workshop will be lecture based only and streamed live on Crowdcast
