The Great Media Server Revival
(a.k.a. I Finally Fixed the Seek – ‘Fast Forward’ & ‘Rewind’!)
Good news, guys — the media servers have officially survived their latest surgery! After days (okay, weeks okay, okay!!!, months) of software updates, patches, tears, and caffeine, I can proudly say: it all works… probably.
We’ve made the mediafile portal smoother and more reliable for everyone. You can now protect shared links with passwords, set expiry dates. File management is easier with multi-select, quick zip downloads, and better folder copying options. The new browser extension helps you find, copy, and download your files directly from Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Opera. We’ve also improved upload speed, preview quality, and performance across all devices. Everything should just feel a bit faster and more comfortable to use. We now have a faster file manager, smoother video playback, and even speedier downloads. Basically, if our site were a car, it just got a turbo upgrade.
The Legendary ‘Seek’ Option Returns
Remember that ancient bug that refused to die for almost a year? The one where you couldn’t FF or RW (seek) videos using the playback progress bar? Yeah, that one. Well, grab your popcorn — it’s finally fixed!
Turns out, the reason it lived so long was that our code was using an ancient dialect of PHP that modern technology had already forgotten. Combine that with our wild server zoo (each one with its own personality disorder), and you get a recipe for chaos. But miracles happen: after one and a half months of debugging and existential questioning, I tamed the beast.
Now, please do me a solid — hop on the site, test the playback in geneneral and seek feature in the player, and let me know if it works for you. If it doesn’t, drop a comment here or ping me on Telegram. I’ll cry a little and then fix it.
Coming Soon: Subtitles in All the Languages
Next up on the list: automatic (almost: by request) subtitles in multiple languages for all media files. First in line: Spanish, Chinese, Hindi, Portuguese (Brazil), Vietnamese, and Indonesian. Then maybe German, French, Arabic, and — just maybe — Russian (because why not?). I’m also adding AI-generated voiceovers.

Epilogue: The Return of the Dev
And yes, as a shocking plot twist to this whole saga — I’m back! ))
You can relax now. More content coming soon. Life is good.
Hi ,
Thanks so much for all the effort and the great service you provide — it’s really appreciated!
However, for me, the Mediafile Cloud still shows a blank screen after the countdown. I can’t view or download any files.
Please let me know if there’s anything I need to do on my side, or if it’s still an issue on the server.
Thanks again,
let me check…
Could you please share the file link that shows the blank screen?
Just a quick clarification regarding my previous message: Mediafile Cloud works flawlessly in Firefox!
The issue I mentioned — the blank screen after the countdown — only happens in Chrome, so it seems to be browser-specific.
Thanks again for your amazing work and support!
Oh my god, welcome back admin😍😍😍😍we missed yaaa
😘😍🙌
Wow, I discovered the emoji keyboard ))
He is baaaaackkkkk, yeah babbbby❤
When that happens, you can refresh the page and will automatically download
that same issues for me
Give the browser another try in incognito mode – just hit Ctrl-Shift-N in any Chrome-based browser. This mode skips cached files and saved cookies, kind of like a fresh start. If it works in incognito, it should work normally too. From what we’re seeing on our end (traffic), most folks don’t have any issues – everything’s running smooth. Oh, and don’t forget to clear your cache!
Just tried downloading a file from an anonymous user – everything worked, waited 60 seconds. The proxy is working, the file playback is fine. Logged in as a free user – same thing, everything works. Waited 30 seconds and managed to watch another video.
Try clearing your browser cache. Maybe some old JavaScript files are stuck somewhere – perhaps on a CDN or in your browser’s cache and aren’t working quite right. Alternatively, try opening an incognito tab in your browser. For Chrome, that’s Ctrl+Shift+N. In this mode, the browser should definitely not use cached data. It should work
it is work thank you
its working thanks

Ha-ha, that should be a big beautiful ASCII-art emoji – the spaces at the front are gone, well whatever. Though it now looks more like a pile of manure, but still, lol
At least someone made the comeback on Jan 7 …. 🥲 #conformitygate
This site is the best for free course.
Will you share any more free courses? Only group buys are being shared.
Yes, I’m planning to catch up on everything I missed and upload all the stuff we’ve got since I .. went offline ).
Just quickly get everything here. A few automation scripts need to be fixed, tired of doing everything manually, and one more server popped in to the cluster – out of storage ))
Oh, and groupbuys are important too, guys
Hi, I know groupbuys are important, but it would’ve helped if you have free versions of the lessons too.
Also, how can I make requests for more online courses?
Hi🍓
Everything is working as you described, everything is OK.
I logged in with my Mediafile account and the Timeline is OK, going back and forth as desired.
Let me tell you something: When you activate subtitles in videos, if you have the “Google Translate plugin” in Chrome, it translates the subtitles automatically, it’s always been like that… So I don’t think you need to go to the trouble of adding translations for multiple languages, because each person just needs to install this official and free plugin from Google itself, which is available for all browsers, simply by installing it as a browser extension.
Thank you for your service and have a great start to the year.🤗
Thanks! Glad it’s working.
I’ve actually gone deep down the translation rabbit hole recently. Google Translate feels pretty archaic compared to the new neural network stuff (transformers), but running the good stuff is usually pricey.
I think I’ve cracked it for our scale, though. Since we only have ~100 concurrent users, I’m building a DIY AI server using consumer GPUs. It’s a bit of a “blue tape and glue gun” setup, but it’s powerful enough for what we need. Honestly, I just love tinkering with this tech and want to get it running perfectly
Ah, so if that’s the case, everything is fine, it was just a suggestion to make your work easier.
Have a lovely day.🤗🍓
We’re so back?!
Yes, my old friend, we are back )
Nice to see you back, can’t wait for the new content, thanks for all the hard work!
(o*o)
I really love this is website i appreciate all your effort
✨
Hello, I can’t seem to be able to upgrade my account in mediafile cloud, after clicking on upgrade now there is no payment methods available at all, thanks.
Ha-ha, yeah, mediafile is totally priceless, lol! I put the buttons back the way they were before. Should be working fine now – let me know if anything’s still off!
Does this also means there would be free courses dropped? Please do so, helps a ton thank you
Yeah – everything that hits the public will be here soon. Promise
Please more free lessons! I can’t access group-buy on my end, like literally.
thanks for these services ,you are doing great work .
but today as soon as i clicked the link i waited for the media cloud countdown and when i clicked on view button it went blank .
on top tab it says undefined on media cloud page .
Yeah, I tinkered there a bit today again, it’s a complicated setup, had to add one more server since the space ran out, moved things around, basically a bunch of dumb mechanical work in our zoo of servers. Should be all working fine now, might have a few minor hiccups tomorrow, but nothing critical, short-lived ones
So glad you’re back! Been missing you, the whole community is grateful. Happy New Year!
Happy new year!!

Thank you, we were awaiting with calm, at least me, i know is not an easy work.
Yes, I’ve finally retired – hope I’ll have more time now)
Still doesnt work even after deleting cache. Works on incognito though
If you’re in incognito mode, you’ll need to clear the cache for all time. There’s some old JavaScript hanging around in the CDN – should’ve been fixed by now, but just to be safe, clear the cache for static files again. Hit Ctrl-Shift-Delete, pick “all time,” and make sure to select images and static files
Hello, I am trying to get premium from the mediacloud page but it seems the payment options are unavailable. Any chance you can set them back up again please? I didn’t recieve a confirmation email either, it would be of great help.
Yes – fixed it about 30 minutes ago. Thanks for the feedback
hey strawberry no links are working , it is showing blank page , no video is showing .
https://online-courses.club/p2design-aoer2-the-art-of-effective-rigging-2-chinese-sub/
Just checked a random file from this course – everything works fine
Hi I have been following this site for a while. The last courses I see are the ones of group buy. Won’t there be more free content anymore? If not, is there other page? If I’m interested in one group buy what needs to be done? How can I look for a course that might not be in the group buy or where to know for new content within this same channel?
Yeah, more stuff is coming to the main site – we’ll be dropping a bunch of free courses real soon, grabbing them from public or private torrents, other shady sites, you know the drill. If you wanna stay in the loop on new uploads, hop on the Telegram channel. If there’s no [group buy] in brackets, it’s good to go – just like everything else on here
Hi, thank you so much for everything you do; this is great news for the new year.
There’s an old Blender course that’s no longer being sold.
I was wondering if there’s any way to upload it here please?.
I’ve included the link to the promotional video that was posted on YouTube.
Is called:
Blender 3D: Stylized Character Modeling & Rigging Course
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHf-HpPWS4g
Again, thank you so much for everything, and happy 2026!
Sure! go ahead and upload. Starting tomorrow, we’ll be back to daily moderation/approval of comments on OCC. Everything works as before. So you upload to Mega, drop the link, and we’ll move your content to the main site – and you’ll get a Mediafile premium for the week. Also, happy new 2026 year!
Unfortunately, I don’t have this course.
Actually, I didn’t explain myself well, that’s my fault.
I meant if someone could upload it, although I think it’s unlikely because I believe it was only available for a short time.
Anyway, I wasn’t aware of the benefits of contributing to the platform, and it’s good to know.
I’m glad you’re back.
Thank you very much.
Got it – I understand.
But I won’t be looking for this course right now — busy with other stuff. If someone shares it, I’ll definitely post it.
Reagrding the benefits, the last item in the main menu at the top of the site is ‘Free Premium’. Click on it – I think everything is described there in details
This is GREAT IMPROVISATION.
Last year, I’ve tried couple time download same file with failure over, over, and over again.
The file itself has different size with actual file on server.
Luckily, you guys finally FIX THIS ISSUES
and thank you so much for your effort to make this website GREAT AGAIN.
But the fact that you couldn’t download a certain file might not be entirely related to Mediafile. More likely, there was still an issue in what’s called the last mile – that is, where the traffic is heaviest, where there are the most network collisions. Wi-Fi networks, packet loss, too many users on a single channel. I tweaked the server side a bit today. They’re promising up to 32% improvement in latency lost packets recovery and delay for video streaming. I’ll keep an eye on it.
Yeah, I did notice some tweaks today – though they might just be in my head, I’ll admit. I was kind of hoping to see them, so I’m not totally objective here. Anyway, let’s keep an eye on this bug. with that Chrome update that stopped seeking during playback – I guess that’s exactly what reduced the chances of downloading an intact non-corrupted file. So theoretically this should help things now, especially when the server and client are in sync. Fingers crossed I’m not completely off base on how it all works ))
Anyway, it’s all good.
I don’t even know what you called “last mile” in here.
But compared to last year experience, Mediafile unable resume a file download.
So I should start unfinished download over and over again.
Unfortunately, the file itself still corrupted in file size no matter how I’ve tried.
But now, You guys are SUCCESS to bring Improvisation to this site.
Mediafile is amazingly fast and also able to resume download, too.
Unlike last year, this version deserved an 5 stars rating.
By “last mile” I mean this: the main network issues don’t happen on high-performance internet channels between providers – those work just fine, no problems. The real issues are where users connect to their routers, modems, or ISPs. That’s where networks are highly heterogeneous, competition is fierce, and traffic loss is high. That’s also where packet loss most often occurs – which leads to corrupted downloads.
How we store content on Mediafile significantly reduces the risk of files being corrupted there, since we use standard server software for quality control, redundancy, and so on. So all corrupted downloads are really just network problems. But I think we’ve now solved this issue with the latest optimizations and tweaks we’ve rolled out to our cloud software. And for a small project like ours, I believe this should work quite acceptably.
Thanks for your feedback!
does that mean there is going to be content again?
YES!
Strawberry, do the courses we purchased in the group buy have an option for subtitles? I’m Brazilian and I don’t understand English, and I would really like the Character Texturing for Games in Substance [CGMA, Jared Chavez – 2023] to have Portuguese subtitles if possible. 😊
But that’s exactly what I’m talking about in today’s post. So right now we’ll be doing subtitles for 10 to 16 languages on GBC and voiceovers maybe for slightly fewer languages. But given that the workload for this task is growing geometrically, I really want to finish up with automation because otherwise it’s just a mess. You could sit in a Linux terminal all day, juggling a bunch of scripts here and there, manually translating, re-encoding, voicing, and so on. Right now I’m actually gathering all of this zoo into a central, so to speak, control panel that’ll handle all these tasks. And at the same time, it’ll also work on Mediafile, making learning materials accessible to those who don’t speak English
What a wonderful time to be alive. Honestly))
Ah, perfect, I hadn’t understood it very well. Yes, with these AI tools everything has become much easier — what a great time to be alive!
Oh my god, welcome back admin😍😍😍😍we missed yaaa
Cara que alivio saber disso, achei que o site ja era. Depois de muitos meses sem atividade, achei que seria o fim. Muito obrigado por seus esforços em manter essa comunidade viva!
