In the next unit, learn about the importance of storytelling in advertising and how comic strips can be a powerful tool to engage with your audience. Review essential illustration concepts in Procreate and revisit the basics of drawing theory to help you create your comic strips.

Now it’s time to work on your project. Start by developing the creative concept and lay it out in a storyboard. Create a mood board for references and transfer your ideas to paper with some sketches of your comic strip. Then, bring your sketches to life by adding color and defined linework.

Finally, insert text into your comic strips and get ready to share them on Instagram. Rocío gives you some advice on different export formats in case you decide to edit them in Photoshop.
