In this course, students will cover composition, prop design, designing a focal point and building layouts, style exploration, layout construction, and design principles. By the end of the course, students will have a firm grasp of the job of a Layout Artist/Background Designer. They can use film theory to design any composition and complete the layout. Students will learn what it means to be a background/layout artist on a production and what is required of an artist in that role.
They will learn how to adapt to different design styles and displays (this versatility is required of artists working in the industry). They will learn how to design layouts using a storyboard as a guide and how to move the camera in the scene (reverse shots and tilts). Students will complete thumbnails, prop designs, and 4-6 layouts in this course.

Indeed, what is free for me is free on OCC. If I can use only my skills to get the content, it is free for everyone here.

Indeed! We have 11 thousands of paid courses available for free for every human on Earth who has access to the Internet.
In every group purchase campaign, the course price is clearly stated, including how much I must pay the user who shared the course with the community or if I paid already. Sometimes, it is the full price, and sometimes, it is discounted as obtained from a reseller or a friend. So, I don’t know what kind of decency you are talking about.
I have been working as a keeper for OCC for the last five years, which has given me some experience in this field. However, as a creative person, I aspire to do more, to improve, grow, and enhance the platform. I would totally invest in this but I’m not literate at all as to how to actually purchase the download and if is it $200 or $16. Either this website rocks the influence and contribution it has in its own way for artists in the flesh is quite amazing. Imagine if Diego Velazquez had access to what we have here.
