Skill level:Intermediate

Language:English

Exercise files:Yes

If you’re interested in 3D modeling and animation, at some point you’re going to want to make a scene with grass. In this class, we are going to create realistic dynamic grass, and we’re going to make it move just like real grass by using Blender’s built-in wind simulation. You’re also going to learn about blender’s textures, materials, and particle hair generator.

This is a special tutorial in that it requires no modeling. All you need to do is apply the particle generator with the right settings and you’re done.

If you don’t have Blender on your computer already go here and download the latest stable version of Blender. At the time of this tutorial that version is 2.82. Anything from 2.80 and beyond should be fine.
